The first production that Aladin Foods launched is the oven for Arabic flatbreads. The processes in the oven are fully automated – from kneading the dough to packaging. The production capacity is 68,000 flatbreads per day and meets the needs of both the Aladin Foods chain of establishments and external clients.
The Arabic pita breads are prepared according to an original recipe and contain only flour, yeast, sugar, and salt. They consist of two soft round flatbreads that are baked at a temperature of 690˚C – 750˚C. Each one is 1.5 to 2 mm thick and has no center, which reduces the water content compared to traditional bread by ~28% - this is one of the reasons that makes Arabic pita breads faster and easier for the body to digest.
